The portal for the registration of prospective beneficiaries for the Micro Small & Medium Enterprises MSME Survival Fund opened on Monday and the Federal Government has released the timetable for categories of businesses to register.
The survival fund is a conditional grant to support vulnerable Micro and Small enterprises in meeting their payroll obligations and safeguard jobs in MSMEs from the shock of the COVID- 19 pandemic.

How Much Is Expected In MSME Survival Fund Per Month
The Payroll support scheme is expected to assist about 500,000 vulnerable MSMEs in meeting payroll obligations of between N30,000 to N50,000 per employee over 3 months
In a statement released yesterday by the Project Delivery Office (PDO), In order to ensure a seamless registration process, the Survival Fund payroll support Registration portal will open on Monday, 21 September 2020 at 10 PM, and will have educational institutions as the first category of beneficiaries to register.
Businesses in the hospitality industry will have access on Friday 25 September 2020 from 12 A.M., while, other categories of small businesses will be able to register from 12 A.M., on Monday, September 28, 2020.
The office therefore advised those interested in benefiting from the fund to take note of the schedule and also log on to http://www.survivalfund.ng to register for the payroll support initiative

- Must have BVN by company CEO
- Must have a staff strength of no less than 3 persons
- Must be owned by a Nigerian

Step 1: Personal Registration
In this first step, applicants will need to register their personal details, first and last name, email, phone number, password, gender, date of birth, residential address, state of origin and local government, accept the Terms and Conditions, then register.
Step 2: Activate your account
Applicants will receive an activation code through the phone number and email address they registered with. You need this code to activate your account. Make sure your phone number or email address is very close to you before you begin the registration process.
Step 3: Organisation registration
After the applicants has successfully activated their account, they’ll need login and register their organization. To complete this stage, applicants will need dia CAC Number, SMEDAN Number, Tax ID (not compulsory) and the organisation bank account details.
Step 4: Completing The payroll support application
Under the MSME Payroll Support, applicant will receive an email that lists the things needed to complete the application. You will need submit names of your employees not more than 10 staff, proof of previous payments to the beneficiaries and other supporting documents.
